Learning directly from peers can be one of the best ways to impart essential information. Personal interactions among retail service professionals can be a fantastic opportunity for brands to gain strong connections. The Adopt-A-Store program was to be a system that provides knowledgeable associates the ability to earn loyalty program rewards for the world’s largest computer processor manufacturer, Intel. With this program, those associates could create training events that matched set criteria and administer small classes on site to their peers while providing crucial feedback.
I designed a portal that simplified scheduling, quickly directed users to requirements, and guided them to robust teaching tools. The interaction points are bold and placed in natural patterns. The visuals were unexpected yet reiterated the user journey. The pallet was moderate and used color and contrast to draw the users attention to the most important information available. Though the program was eventually deprecated, early testing revealed solid schedule completions and multiple successful event plans.
